A Multi-Point Level Switch is a liquid level sensing device designed to detect and control multiple liquid levels within a tank or vessel using a single sensor unit. It consists of a vertical stem or guide tube that holds multiple reed switches, each triggered by a magnet-equipped float at predetermined heights.

A Side Mounted Float Level Switch is a liquid level sensor installed horizontally on the side of a tank or vessel. A Magnetic Float Operated Level Switch is a point-level sensing device that detects liquid levels in tanks or vessels using a float containing a magnet. The float moves with the liquid surface along a stem or guide tube, and its magnetic field actuates an internal reed switch or sensor without direct electrical contact with the liquid.

Oil level sensors work the same way that traditional float switches work, except for they work with oil instead of water. Oil level sensors use magnetic reed switches, that are hermitically sealed in a stainless steel or plastic stem, to measure oil levels and automatically turn on or off oil pumps. The reed switch moves up and down the stem to open or break circuits (turn on or off oil pumps) according to oil levels rising and falling.

Once the oil in the tank reaches its lowest predetermined point (closed position) the reed switch will create a circuit and automatically send a signal to your pump to start filling your tank up with oil again. The magnetic reed switch will then open the circuit back up again (open position) once the oil level has reached maximum fill capacity.

A Stainless Steel Displacer Level Switch is a robust, mechanical device used to detect liquid levels in tanks and vessels. A Conductive Level Sensor (also called Conductivity Level Switch) detects the presence or absence of liquid at a specific point by measuring the electrical conductivity between two or more electrodes immersed in the liquid.

NRG GLOBAL INSTRUMENTS MAKE magnetically float operated Top Mounted Level Switch for controlling one or multi Levels by using reed Switch. The Unit Consists of Vertical Guide Pipe (Stem), Reed Switches Are located, Magnetic Float Sliding over the Stem according to the level in the tank.

After passing the float, the reed relay will retain their output state. Various materials of

construction are available depending up on Service Condition. Maximum 4 Set points can be given in a Single Level Switch & Maximum stem length will be 3 Meters.

Working principle

To use of liquid buoyancy principle. When the floating ball due to buoyancy and moving up and down, the magnetic reed switch in the junction box will be action when it is influence by the arm end magnetic. The same principle is used in the micro switch device. To use of magnets and magnet micro switch arm end of mutual exclusion movement to push the micro switch action.

Conductivity Level Switch is a simple, low cost, point level measurement switch designed for level detection of conductive liquids having low densities, high viscosities, containing solid particles and to detect interface between non-conductive and conductive liquids. The probes work through the variation of the electrical resistance between the reference electrode and the level-control electrode. Conductivity level switches detect the level resistance when their electrodes are covered by the medium. If the tank is made of plastic, concrete, or any other nonconductive material, an additional electrode is required as a reference

It is a simple, low cost, point level controller designed for detecton of conductive liquids, having low densites, high viscosities, containing solid particles and interface between nonconductive and conductive liquids.

CONSTRUCTION & OPERATION It comprises of a probe, wired to a level controller. The probe holds one common reference/common electrode and one or multiple “Control Electrodes” depending upon the number of levels to be controlled. All the electrodes are suitably insulated to avoid electrical bridging. The lengths of “Control Electrodes” correspond to the height of preset level points to be controlled and the length of the “reference/common Electrode” is kept slightly longer than the longest “Control Electrode”. If tank is conductive, it can be used as a reference/common electrode. Then number of control electrodes equals number of preset levels. Level controller houses sensing electronics consisting of power supply and signal conditoning circuit which provide a “Low AC Voltage” across mass and control electrodes. On liquid reaching preset level point electrical circuit gets completed - generating a signal which is amplified to actuate a relay, those potential free contacts are available for subsequent operations. A Horizontal Mounting Type Magnetic Float Level Switch is a point-level sensor designed to detect liquid levels by using a float containing a magnet that moves along a horizontal stem or guide.
